Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day at leisure or enjoy an optional excursion such as the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the Out of Africa experience, or the Nai Nami Cultural Walking Tour.

Day 2 – Nairobi to Buffalo Springs Game Reserve
After breakfast, depart north via Thika and Nanyuki to the frontier town of Isiolo. Continue to Buffalo Springs Game Reserve, arriving for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive across the dramatic northern landscape.

Day 3 – Buffalo Springs Game Reserve
Spend the day exploring Buffalo Springs and nearby Samburu Reserve in search of the Samburu Special Five—Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, and Somali Ostrich. Morning and afternoon game drives included.

Day 4 – Buffalo Springs to Nyahururu
Travel south via the foothills of Mount Kenya, pausing at the Equator before arriving in Nyahururu. Visit the impressive Thomson’s Falls and nearby Hippo Pools during an afternoon nature walk.

Day 5 – Nyahururu to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive and lunch at a lodge inside the park. Continue to Lake Naivasha in the afternoon for a relaxing boat ride among hippos and birds.

Day 6 – Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara Game Reserve
Depart Naivasha early, ascending the Mau Escarpment and driving through Narok to the Masai Mara. Arrive for lunch and enjoy your first afternoon game drive across the open plains.

Day 7 – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Spend the day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Optional hot-air balloon safari available at extra cost.

Day 8 – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy another full day of wildlife viewing in the Mara, where lions, cheetahs, elephants, and wildebeest roam in abundance. Balloon safari optional.

Day 9 – Masai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and travel via Narok and the Great Rift Valley back to Nairobi, arriving early afternoon. Drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or selected city hotels for onward travel.
