Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to The Sarova Stanley Hotel. Spend the day relaxing or explore Nairobi with optional excursions such as the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the Out of Africa experience, or the Nai Nami Cultural Walking Tour.
Overnight: The Sarova Stanley Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)
Day 2 – Nairobi to Shaba Game Reserve
After an early breakfast, head north via Thika and Nanyuki to Isiolo, gateway to the northern frontier. Arrive at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge for lunch, then set out on your first afternoon game drive across Shaba’s rugged landscapes.

Day 3 – Shaba Game Reserve
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of rare species unique to northern Kenya — including the Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. Relax by the pool or watch the river flow through the acacia-lined banks of this tranquil reserve.

Day 4 – Shaba to Lake Nakuru National Park
Travel south via the foothills of Mount Kenya and Nyahururu to the Rift Valley’s Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to see flamingos, rhinos, and Rothschild’s giraffes.

Day 5 – Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara Game Reserve
Depart after breakfast, journeying south via the Mau Escarpment and Narok to the world-renowned Masai Mara. Arrive for lunch and enjoy your first afternoon game drive across the iconic savannah.
Added Value: Dinner under the stars at Sarova Mara Game Camp.

Day 6 – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Spot the Big Five and, between July and October, witness the Great Migration. Optional hot-air balloon safari available at additional cost.

Day 7 – Masai Mara to Nairobi / Departure
After breakfast, return to Nairobi through the Rift Valley, arriving early afternoon for drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or selected city hotels.
