Experience the magic of Tanzania on this 8-day safari through Tarangire, Manyara, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Staying in carefully selected Mberesero Lodges, this adventure combines classic game drives with comfort, scenic beauty, and a true taste of East Africa’s wild heart.
Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your representative for transfer to Forest Hill Hotel (or Ilboru Safari Lodge on select departures). Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure after your journey.
Overnight: Forest Hill Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)
Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephant herds and towering baobab trees. Game view en route to Elephant Rock Camp for lunch and relaxation. Afternoon game drive before returning for dinner under the stars.
Overnight: Elephant Rock Camp (Full Board)
Day 3 – Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
Early game drive, followed by breakfast. Continue to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its flamingos and tree-climbing lions. Lunch and afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge at sunset.
Overnight: Manyara Lake View Oasis (Full Board)
Day 4 – Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
Travel north to the Serengeti National Park, entering through Naabi Hill Gate. Game view en route to Mberesero Serengeti Central Lodge for lunch and an afternoon drive across the endless plains.
Overnight: Mberesero Serengeti Central Lodge (Full Board)
Day 5 – Serengeti National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives across the Serengeti, home to the Big Five and, seasonally, the Great Migration. Optional hot-air balloon safari (additional cost) available for a bird’s-eye view of the plains.

Day 6 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
Depart with game viewing en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at Mberesero Endoro Lodge for late lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Some departures may stay at Kudu Lodge, Karatu.
Overnight: Mberesero Endoro Lodge (Full Board)
Day 7 – Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari in this natural amphitheatre of wildlife. Spot elephants, lions, rhinos, and countless antelope species. Picnic lunch on the crater floor before returning to your lodge for dinner.
Overnight: Mberesero Endoro Lodge (Full Board with picnic lunch)
Day 8 – Ngorongoro to Arusha / Departure
After breakfast, return to Arusha for lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge before transferring to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
