Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your representative for transfer to Kibo Palace Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the hotel’s pool, spa, or nearby attractions in Arusha.
Overnight: Kibo Palace Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)
Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Spend the morning at leisure before your safari briefing and lunch at the hotel. Depart Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its huge herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees. Arrive at Tarangire Simba Lodge for dinner and an evening under the stars.
Overnight: Tarangire Simba Lodge (Full Board)
Day 3 – Tarangire to Karatu
After a morning game drive in Tarangire and lunch at the lodge, continue to Karatu town near the Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy a leisurely drive through local farmland and Maasai villages before arriving at Karatu Simba Lodge.
Overnight: Karatu Simba Lodge (Full Board)
Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
Early morning departure for a full-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, often called Africa’s “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Descend 600 metres to the crater floor for spectacular wildlife encounters, including lions, rhinos, and elephants. Picnic lunch provided. Return to Karatu in the afternoon.
Overnight: Karatu Simba Lodge (Full Board)
Day 5 – Karatu to Arusha / Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha for lunch before continuing to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight or extension to Zanzibar.

- Any changes in park fees or taxes beyond ARP Africa Travel’s control
