Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring Nairobi with optional excursions such as the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Out of Africa experience, or Nai Nami Cultural Walking Tour.
Overnight: Ole Sereni Hotel (Cozy Room, Bed & Breakfast)
Day 2 – Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel through the scenic highlands, descending into the Great Rift Valley. Pass the Italian Chapel and Longonot Earth Satellite Station en route to the Masai Mara. Arrive for lunch, followed by your first exciting afternoon game drive.
Overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge (Full Board)
Day 3 – Masai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives across the rolling savannahs of the Mara, home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife. Visit a local Maasai village to learn about the community’s rich culture and traditions. Optional balloon safaris can be arranged at an additional cost.
Overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge (Full Board)
Day 4 – Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart the Mara and travel through Kenya’s agricultural heartlands to Lake Nakuru. Arrive in time for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park—famed for flamingos, rhinos, and Rothschild giraffes. Return to the lodge at sunset.
Overnight: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge (Full Board)
Day 5 – Lake Nakuru to Nairobi / Departure
Begin with an early breakfast before travelling to Lake Naivasha for a tranquil boat ride among hippos and waterbirds. Continue to Nairobi for lunch, with drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your city hotel for onward travel.
